ELDER ROBERT M. CUNNINGHAM, JR. AKA PASTOR C.

Pastor C. is deeply committed to serving his community through evangelism and mentorship, passionately leading efforts to love God and serve others. He is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Kansas and owner of R.M. Cunningham Consulting, L.L.C., viewing individuals, couples, and families not as problems to fix, but as majestic monuments in process.

In addition to his pastoral role, Pastor C. is the Director of Special Programs at The City Teen Center, where he has developed impactful programming for middle and high school students since 2009. He serves on the North Salina Community Development Board and has previously held positions such as Fatherhood Coordinator for Heartland Early Education Program.

Nationally, Pastor C. has served on the Board of Directors for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and its Elections Council. He has presented at various universities, including Kansas State Polytechnic and Kansas Wesleyan University.

A U.S. Army veteran, Pastor C. was honorably discharged in 1996 and relocated to Kansas in 2001. He married Vesa in 2002, and they have three adult children and two grandchildren. He holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Criminal Justice from Kansas Wesleyan University and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. Pastor C. credits his faith and family support as the foundation of his success.
